Name Origin
The name nimThé comes from the Minnan pronunciation for drinking tea. The English word “tea” also traces back to the Minnan sound “te,” carried overseas as tea moved from Fujian toward Europe.
For international guests, the name keeps a Chinese cultural root while remaining simple to pronounce.
